This UPF tunic provides full coverage - from collar to knuckles! This is more than a sun shirt.  The super soft material and cute design easily beat needing to apply, and reapply, sunscreen. This style also offers mesh underarms to help with ventilation and beating the heat!  While the mesh is not UPF rated, its strategic placement under the arms still provides protection from the sun.

Top: 47% Modal, 47% Cotton, 6% Spandex. 

Mesh: 92% Nylon, 8% Spandex

Mesh is not UPF protective.  It is strategically placed under the arm in order to provide ventilation, while not being exposed to the sun.

The Modal/Cotton/Spandex blend is manufactured in Los Angeles, CA and all clothing is sewn in Los Angeles, CA.  

What is Modal?

Modal fabric is a type of textile made from cellulose fibers that are derived from beech trees. Modal is generally considered a more eco-friendly alternative to cotton because beech trees don't require much water to grow and therefore the production process uses about 10-20 times less water. It is known for its softness, breathability, and durability, making it a popular choice for clothing, bedding, and other textiles.
